A fully restored old stone house set in beautiful gardens in the small village of Monsec, just 15 kms from Brantome, where all amenities are to be found, including bakeries, banks, post office, many restaurants and bars and a supermarket. 

This lovely traditional style property will accommodate up to 13 people and is an ideal place for one large family or two families who wish to take their holiday together. La Casa Carla sleeps 9 people and La Petite Casa Carla sleeps 4 people. The 11 x 5 metre swimming pool is situated in the walled garden, giving absolute privacy for guests.

Leisure pursuits include canoe and bike hire in the historic town of Brantome, river swimming, fishing and country walks. This is an ideal base to explore the Perigord with many castles, chateaux, caves and beauty spots.

The ground floor of Casa Carla comprises :

• A fully fitted kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave oven

• A lovely living room with beautiful fireplace

• Separate access to dining room

• Mezzanine floor with one double and two single beds

The other house, called Petite Casa Carla comprises :

There is also a large covered terrace where you can enjoy barbeques and al fresco dining. The swimming pool is furnished with sunbeds and parasols.
